Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal issues clarification on ‘Temple’: Says device not yet for sale

In a recent turn of events, Deepinder Goyal, the CEO of Zomato, found himself at the center of controversy after being spotted with a unique device known as 'Temple.' This health-tech wearable sparked debates across social media, drawing attention from influencers and even raising eyebrows among medical professionals concerned about potential 'bio-hacking' implications. To address the growing speculation, Goyal took to X (formerly Twitter) to clarify that Temple is not currently available for purchase. He emphasized that the device is still a work in progress, with no public announcements regarding its commercial release. In his post, Goyal reassured concerned parties, stating, "We haven’t made any public commercial announcements about Temple yet. We haven’t released any official device benchmarking data." He further elaborated on the timeline for Temple’s release, indicating it could be months before a public preview is available, if a commercial launch is pursued at all. Adding a touch of humor, he remarked, “That’s funny, tbh (to be honest),” in response to critics advising against purchasing a product that hasn't been fully tested or validated. Goyal also indicated that the science behind Temple would be shared in due course, should they decide to market the device. He encouraged curiosity and support for Indian startups, acknowledging that skepticism is valuable but should be approached at the appropriate time. As it stands, Temple remains an intriguing project under Goyal's personal venture, Continue Research. The future of this wearable technology remains uncertain, but it certainly adds to the anticipation surrounding Goyal's Gravity Ageing Hypothesis theory.
