AI startup Zingage says healthcare belongs inside the home. Read the pitch deck that it used to raise $12 million.

Zingage, an innovative AI startup, has successfully secured $12.5 million in seed funding aimed at transforming the home healthcare landscape over the next decade. Founded just two years ago, Zingage is focused on developing an AI-driven scheduling and operations platform specifically designed for home healthcare agencies, which dispatch caregivers directly to patients’ homes as an alternative to traditional hospitals or long-term care facilities. According to cofounder and CEO Victor Hunt, many patients are not receiving the necessary care due to the inefficiencies in offline logistics that plague these agencies. He emphasized that caregivers often struggle to piece together sufficient hours to earn a living wage. "Our vision is to integrate all facets of healthcare into the home environment—from basic personal care and companionship to skilled nursing and remote patient monitoring," Hunt expressed, noting that this shift could lead to reduced hospitalizations and enhanced care outcomes, ultimately allowing individuals to age in place comfortably. The startup, based in New York City, was co-founded by Hunt and Daniel Tian, who met at the tech community South Park Commons. Hunt's motivation for creating Zingage was deeply personal; he shared that his mother required home assistance after an assault, and his grandmother established her own home healthcare business. Meanwhile, Tian, who serves as Zingage's CTO and previously worked at Ramp and TikTok, faced challenges in securing reliable care for his grandfather, who has Alzheimer's disease. Hunt identified several trends driving the movement towards home healthcare, including the decline of traditional family units, the rising importance of preventive care, and the increasing desire among older adults—the fastest-growing demographic in the U.S.—to remain in their homes as they age. The seed funding round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with additional investments from TQ Ventures, South Park Commons, and executives from Ramp. Zingage currently offers two primary products: Zingage Perform, which Hunt describes as akin to "Candy Crush for work," is designed to boost caregiver engagement and retention by rewarding them for accepting extra shifts or long-term assignments. The second product, Zingage Operator, recently launched out of beta and automates essential back-office operations for home care agencies, including intake, scheduling, billing, urgent request management, and visit documentation. With a team of 14 employees—two-thirds of whom are engineers—Zingage has already partnered with 400 agency clients, employing approximately 50,000 caregivers. Other startups, like Axle Healthcare, are also leveraging AI to innovate in the home healthcare space. To provide insights into its funding journey, Zingage has made its pitch deck available, though some slides have been redacted for public sharing.
