In a shocking incident early Sunday morning, two 15-year-olds have been charged with unarmed carjacking following an attack on Edward "Big Balls" Coristine. Coristine, a teenage software engineer and a former intern at Neuralink, gained notoriety as a notable figure in the Trump administration's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). The attack occurred around 3 a.m. in Logan Circle, Washington, D.C., when Coristine and his girlfriend found themselves surrounded by a group of approximately ten teenagers. Eyewitness reports indicate that the group made threatening remarks regarding their vehicle. In a swift move to protect his girlfriend, Coristine pushed her into the car before confronting the assailants. The situation escalated, leading to an attack on him until law enforcement arrived on the scene. Following the incident, Elon Musk took to social media platform X to commend Coristine for his courage during the altercation. Meanwhile, former President Trump also highlighted the incident, sharing a graphic image of Coristine's injuries on Truth Social and advocating for legal reforms that would allow minors as young as 14 to be prosecuted as adults.
