Xiaomi's budget offering Redmi 15C 5G with 6,000mAh battery and 50MP camera launched

Xiaomi India has officially launched the Redmi 15C 5G, a smartphone designed for users seeking a blend of a large display and robust battery life. This new device showcases a sleek design with a polished finish and a 3D quad-curved back, featuring a unique floating crater camera module. Customers can choose from three stylish color options: Moonlight Blue, Dusk Purple, and Midnight Black. The Redmi 15C 5G provides a basic level of protection with an IP64 rating, safeguarding against dust and water. At its core, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor, which can be paired with up to 16GB of extended RAM. Users can also enjoy up to 1TB of expandable storage, ensuring smooth performance for multitasking and everyday applications. Running on Xiaomi's latest HyperOS 2, the device integrates Google Gemini and features a ‘Circle to Search’ function, enhancing user convenience for information access. One of the standout elements is its impressive 6,000mAh battery, designed for long-lasting usage, boasting claims of up to 23 hours of video playback. Users can benefit from a 33W turbo charging solution that can recharge the battery to 50% in just 28 minutes, along with a 33W charger included in the box and support for 10W reverse charging. The device features a 6.9-inch HD+ display with an AdaptiveSync refresh rate of up to 120Hz, promising smooth scrolling and seamless visual transitions. On the photography front, the Redmi 15C 5G is equipped with a 50MP AI dual camera system on its rear, enabling users to capture vibrant and clear images across a variety of lighting conditions. The Redmi 15C 5G will be offered in three memory configurations: 4GB+128GB, 6GB+128GB, and 8GB+128GB. The smartphone is set to hit the shelves on December 11, 2025, with a starting price of Rs 12,499 in India.
