Xiaomi has officially revealed essential details about the highly anticipated Redmi Note 15, including its processor and battery specifications, just before its launch in India. The Chinese tech giant has also provided insights into other features such as charging capabilities, IP rating, and expected pricing. The Redmi Note 15 will boast a striking 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. This new chipset promises a 10% enhancement in GPU performance and a 30% improvement in CPU performance, ensuring up to 48 months of smooth operation. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the device's 108MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and 4K video recording capabilities. Additionally, the phone is rated IP66 for water and dust resistance, meaning it can handle splashes but should not be submerged in water. A robust 5,520mAh battery will support 45W wired fast charging, providing users with approximately 1.6 days of usage and potentially up to five years of battery longevity. Running on HyperOS 2, the Redmi Note 15 is expected to include Android 15 upon release, although the company has not confirmed this explicitly. The phone is anticipated to be priced under ₹20,000, making it competitive against models like the OnePlus Nord CE 5, Infinix GT 30, and Realme P4. A new promotional poster has indicated that the phone will be available for purchase on Amazon. The Redmi Note 15 has already launched in select markets, providing a glimpse of its potential. It will feature an additional 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 20MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Users can expect RAM options of 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB LPDDR4x, with storage choices of 128GB or 256GB via UFS 2.2. Although leaks suggest a potential launch date of January 6, 2026, Xiaomi has yet to confirm this officially.
