
Xiaomi has officially introduced the Mix Flip 2, a cutting-edge clamshell foldable smartphone, to the Chinese market. This new device serves as the successor to the original Mix Flip, featuring significant enhancements that elevate its performance and functionality. At the heart of the Mix Flip 2 is Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which pairs seamlessly with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. Running on Android 15, the smartphone is enhanced by Xiaomi's proprietary HyperOS 2 interface, ensuring a smooth user experience. One of the standout attributes of this device is its dual-display configuration. The exterior boasts a 4.01-inch AMOLED screen, safeguarded by Dragon Crystal Glass 2.0, capable of achieving an impressive 3,200 nits peak brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate. Upon unfolding, users are greeted by a 6.86-inch AMOLED main display, also offering 3,200 nits brightness, with a resolution of 1.5K and a fluid 120Hz refresh rate. For photography enthusiasts, the Mix Flip 2 features a sophisticated Leica-tuned dual rear camera system. This setup includes a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization and a 24mm Leica Summilux lens, complemented by a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 14mm focal length and autofocus. A 32MP front camera, integrated within the inner display, is perfect for capturing selfies and video calls. The device is powered by a robust 5,165mAh battery, a significant improvement over its predecessor, and supports both 67W wired and 50W wireless charging. Additionally, a dual vapor chamber cooling system ensures efficient heat management during demanding tasks. Connectivity options on the Mix Flip 2 are extensive, including 5G support, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, NavIC, and various global positioning systems such as GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, and Beidou. The device is also equipped with a variety of sensors, stereo dual speakers featuring Dolby Atmos, and an X-axis linear motor for an enhanced audio experience. From a design standpoint, the Mix Flip 2 boasts a sturdy metal frame and hinge. When opened, it measures 166.89 x 73.8 x 7.57mm and collapses to a compact 86.13 x 73.8 x 15.87mm, weighing in at just 199 grams. The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 is priced starting at CNY 5,999 (approximately ₹71,500) for the base model, featuring 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Higher variants with 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB configurations are priced at CNY 6,499 (around ₹77,000) and CNY 7,299 (roughly ₹81,000), respectively. Customers can choose from four elegant color options: Nebula Purple, Lattice Gold, Plum Green, and Shell White.
