Microsoft has launched Xbox Cloud Gaming in India, expanding its reach to 29 countries worldwide. This innovative service enables gamers to stream a vast library of titles directly from the cloud, accessible on devices they already use, including Xbox consoles, PCs, smartphones, and select Smart TVs from LG and Samsung. This initiative aligns with Xbox's goal of enhancing gaming accessibility for everyone, everywhere. With Xbox Cloud Gaming, players can dive into a rich selection of games, featuring popular franchises such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Hollow Knight: Silksong, alongside beloved indie titles like Detective Dotson and Raji: An Ancient Epic. To take advantage of this service, users need a stable internet connection, a compatible Bluetooth controller, and an Xbox Game Pass subscription. In India, the Game Pass starts at ₹499 per month for the Essential tier, which provides access to over 50 games, unlimited cloud streaming, online multiplayer, and additional perks. The Premium plan is available for ₹699, while the Ultimate plan offers hundreds of titles and new releases for ₹1,389. PC gamers can opt for the PC Game Pass at ₹939 monthly. The Xbox Game Pass remains central to Microsoft's gaming strategy, allowing users to explore a vast array of games with a single subscription. This plan includes in-game rewards for popular titles like Call of Duty and Overwatch 2, along with several games from Riot Games. The introduction of localized pricing and flexible tiers simplifies the selection process for Indian gamers, ensuring they find a plan that suits their preferences. With Xbox Cloud Gaming, players can enjoy seamless gameplay across consoles, PCs, and mobile devices. The platform supports multiplayer sessions and fosters global connections, enabling gamers to engage with friends without barriers. In addition, community features, in-app support, and accessibility options cater to newcomers. To start gaming, users can visit xbox.com/play using supported browsers like Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Apple Safari. By logging into their Xbox Game Pass account and pairing a compatible controller, such as the Xbox Wireless Controller or DualShock 4, players can begin streaming immediately. Certain PC games support mouse and keyboard controls, while select mobile titles offer intuitive touch control options. Smart TV users can easily access the service by downloading the Xbox app on compatible devices, logging in, connecting a Bluetooth controller, and jumping into gameplay right away.
