Wishlink, a platform dedicated to creator commerce, has successfully raised $17.5 million in its Series B funding round, with Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India leading the investment. The round also saw participation from existing investors, including Fundamentum and Elevation Capital. The company intends to utilize this funding to broaden its network of creators and brands. Additionally, it plans to invest in technology aimed at enhancing the shopping experience for consumers, fostering improved collaboration between creators and brands. Co-founder Shaurya Gupta emphasized the significant role creators play in influencing consumer purchasing decisions. "In the last four years, we've witnessed creators increasingly shape how consumers discover and buy products. We firmly believe that developing robust tech infrastructure will enable this ecosystem to scale sustainably, delivering substantial value to consumers, brands, and creators alike,” he stated. According to the platform, it currently supports over 40,000 monthly active content creators and 500 brands and marketplaces, boasting monthly sales exceeding Rs 350 crore. Wishlink assists consumers in discovering products across major e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, Meesho, and Shopsy, all recommended by creators. "Our mission is to empower millions of creators to earn sustainably through their content, allowing their audiences to have improved shopping experiences while adding significant value to brands throughout the sales funnel,” Gupta added. Earlier this year, the startup raised $7 million in a round led by Fundamentum and Elevation Capital. Wishlink is in competition with platforms like Lehlah, which counts Nikhil Kamath among its backers.
