Vivo V60e launch confirmed for October 7: Check features, specifications, price

Vivo has officially announced the launch date for its V60e smartphone, confirming it will hit the market in India on October 7, 2025. This release marks the beginning of a busy schedule for the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, which is also set to unveil its flagship X300 series in China on October 13, followed by the global rollout of its Origin OS on October 15. The V60e, which succeeds the V50e, comes in two attractive color options: Noble Gold and Elite Purple. The device boasts a sleek design with a curved chassis and a quad-curved display. It is powered by a robust 6500mAh battery that supports rapid 90W fast charging, with Vivo ensuring that a compatible charger will be included with the purchase. In terms of durability, the V60e is rated IP68 and IP69 for dust and water resistance. Vivo claims that the phone features enhanced “full body drop protection” and is equipped with Diamond Shield Glass for added toughness. Camera enthusiasts will likely be intrigued by its dual-rear camera setup, which includes a 200MP optically stabilized primary sensor capable of 85mm portrait shots and a remarkable 30x zoom. Additionally, it offers an “AI Festival Portrait” mode, along with an 8MP ultrawide camera featuring an Aura Light module. On the front, the V60e sports a 50MP selfie camera equipped with eye autofocus and a 92-degree field of view, making it a strong contender in the photography segment. The device runs on Funtouch OS 15, based on Android 15, with Vivo committing to three major Android updates and five years of security patches. Vivo has also integrated a variety of artificial intelligence features into the V60e, including AI Captions, Gemini, AI Four Season Portrait, and Image Expander. While the official pricing for the Indian market has yet to be confirmed, reports indicate that the base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage may be priced around ₹28,999, while the 8GB RAM + 256GB variant could cost ₹30,999. A premium 12GB + 256GB model is anticipated to retail for approximately ₹31,999. With these enhancements, the V60e aims to build on the success of the V50e, which is currently available for ₹26,999, by introducing superior camera capabilities, expanded AI features, and a larger battery.
