Vivo has officially introduced its newest additions to the Y series, the Y31 and Y31 Pro 5G, targeting the competitive mid-range smartphone market in India. Priced around ₹20,000, these models are set to rival popular choices like the Realme P3 and OnePlus Nord CE 5. The Vivo Y31 starts at ₹14,999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM model is available for ₹16,499. On the other hand, the Vivo Y31 Pro is priced at ₹18,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version, with the top-tier 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model costing ₹20,999. Interested buyers can purchase these devices through Flipkart, Vivo's official website, and various retail partners. Additionally, customers can enjoy an instant bank discount of up to ₹1,500 when using select bank cards. The Y31 comes in two vibrant colors: Rose Red and Diamond Green, while the Y31 Pro is offered in Mocha Brown and Dreamy White. The Vivo Y31 5G features a 6.68-inch HD+ LCD display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, protected by Guardian Glass. It boasts an IP68 + IP69 rating, ensuring it can endure immersion in water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes and withstand high-pressure water jets from any angle. Powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor paired with an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, the Y31 is equipped with either 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, expandable via a microSD card slot of up to 2TB. In terms of photography, it features a 50MP primary camera alongside a 0.08MP secondary lens, along with an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. This model is supported by a remarkable 6,500mAh battery that allows for 44W wired fast charging, along with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and stereo speakers, weighing approximately 209 grams. In contrast, the Y31 Pro boasts a larger 6.72-inch Full HD+ display, also with a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive brightness of 1050 nits. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor with a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, shared with devices like the CMF Phone 1 and Infinix Note 50s. The Y31 Pro supports 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and offers up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. For photography enthusiasts, it includes a 50MP primary camera along with a 2MP secondary sensor and an 8MP front camera for selfies.
