Vivo has officially introduced its latest foldable smartphone, the X Fold 5, in India, boasting a starting price of ₹1,49,999. This new device is set to compete head-to-head with rivals such as the Samsung Z Fold 7 and the Motorola Razr series. The X Fold 5, available in the sleek Titanium Grey color, will be offered starting July 30 through Flipkart, Vivo's official online store, and various offline retailers. As part of the launch promotions, customers can enjoy a 10% instant cashback on select credit and debit cards from banks like SBI, HDFC, IDFC First, DBS, HSBC, and Yes Bank. This innovative foldable features an impressive 8.03-inch 2K+ AMOLED inner display, enhanced by an LTPO panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. With a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and protected by UTG Glass, it promises an exceptional viewing experience. The cover display is equally impressive, sporting a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LTPO AMOLED screen, also with a 120Hz refresh rate and Armor glass protection. Under the hood, the Vivo X Fold 5 is powered by the cutting-edge Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, paired with an Adreno 750 GPU, up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It operates on FuntouchOS 15, based on Android 15, ensuring a smooth and responsive user experience. Battery life is robust, featuring a hefty 6,000mAh capacity that supports 80W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging.
