
Vivo has officially launched the V60 in India, marking the next generation following the V50 released earlier this year. The latest smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and boasts a sophisticated triple rear camera system developed in collaboration with Zeiss. Additionally, the device is equipped with IP68 and IP69 ratings, ensuring robust dust and water resistance. The Vivo V60 is available starting at ₹36,999 for the 8GB + 128GB configuration. The pricing for the higher memory options stands at ₹38,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant, and ₹40,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model. The premium 16GB + 512GB version is priced at ₹45,999. Users can choose from three attractive color options: Auspicious Gold, Mist Grey, and Moonlit Blue. Pre-orders are currently underway, with sales set to kick off on August 19 through the Vivo India e-store, major e-commerce platforms, and selected brick-and-mortar retailers. The device features a stunning 6.77-inch 1.5K quad-curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080×2,392 pixels, offering a 120Hz refresh rate and a remarkable peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits. It supports up to 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Operating on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15, the V60 promises four years of major operating system updates and six years of security patches. Users will benefit from a suite of AI tools, including AI Image Expander, AI Smart Call Assistant, AI Captions, and AI-driven spam call blocking. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the rear camera array, which features a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with optical image stabilization, a 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. For selfies and video calls, a 50MP front camera is included, with both front and rear cameras capable of 4K video recording. The V60 is powered by a massive 6,500mAh battery that supports 90W wired fast charging, ensuring users stay connected throughout the day. Connectivity options are extensive, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C. The device also incorporates an in-display fingerprint sensor for added security. The Mist Grey variant measures 163.53×76.96×7.53mm and weighs 192g, while the Auspicious Gold and Moonlit Blue options are slightly thicker at 7.65mm and 7.75mm, weighing 200g and 201g, respectively.
