Vivo has officially launched its latest smartphone, the V60 5G, in India, designed with a focus on photography and advanced specifications. This device is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and is equipped with a vibrant AMOLED display, ensuring a top-tier user experience. Competing in the competitive sub-₹50,000 market, the Vivo V60 5G faces rivals such as the Oppo Reno 14 and OnePlus 13R. The pricing for the device starts at ₹36,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version, while the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage variant is priced at ₹38,999. For those seeking higher specs, the 12GB RAM/256GB storage model is available for ₹40,999, and the premium 12GB RAM with 512GB storage option is priced at ₹45,999. Starting today, pre-bookings for the Vivo V60 5G are open, with availability set for August 19. Customers can purchase it directly from Vivo’s website, as well as through major retailers like Amazon and Flipkart, along with offline stores. The smartphone will be offered in three elegant colors: Mist Gray, Moonlit Blue, and Auspicious Gold. The V60 boasts a stunning 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, reaching peak brightness levels of 5,000 nits and a resolution of 2392×1080 pixels. Additionally, it features IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, allowing it to withstand submersion in up to 1.5 meters of water for approximately 80 minutes. On the camera front, the smartphone showcases a robust triple rear camera setup, enhanced with ZEISS optics, including a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization, a 50MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter. The front-facing camera is equally impressive, featuring a 50MP sensor for high-quality selfies and video calls. Significantly, Vivo has upgraded the battery from its predecessor, equipping the V60 with a substantial 6,500mAh battery paired with 90W wired fast charging capabilities. Running on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15, Vivo promises users four years of Android updates and six years of security patches, ensuring longevity and performance for its users.
