Vivo has officially announced the upcoming launch of its flagship smartphones, the X300 and X300 Pro, in India. While the exact launch date remains under wraps, industry insiders speculate a December release, coinciding with the recent launches of competitors like the iQOO 15 and OnePlus 15. Having already made their debut in China and other international markets, the X300 and X300 Pro are poised to impress Indian consumers with their high-end specifications. The Vivo X300 boasts a vibrant 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display, which delivers a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and is safeguarded by Armor Glass. It offers a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and features 2160Hz PWM dimming for an enhanced viewing experience. Both models are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with an Arm Mali-G1 Ultra MC12 GPU. The X300 supports up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, ensuring ample performance for demanding applications. These devices will run on the new Origin OS 6, which replaces the previous FuntouchOS, marking a significant upgrade for Vivo's software experience. In terms of photography, the X300 packs an impressive 200MP Samsung HPB primary camera equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), alongside a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP Sony LYT602 periscope telephoto lens, also with OIS. For selfies, a 50MP front-facing camera is available. The device is powered by a robust 6,040mAh battery, supporting 90W wired and 40W wireless fast charging. On the other hand, the X300 Pro features a larger 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with similar brightness and refresh rate specifications. Both devices come with IP68 and IP69 ratings, meaning they are resistant to dust and can withstand submersion in water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. The X300 Pro is equipped with a 50MP Sony LYT828 primary sensor, a 20MP ultra-wide lens, and a powerful 200MP Samsung HPB periscope telephoto camera. It shares the same 50MP front camera as the X300 but boasts a larger 6,510mAh battery, also supporting 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. Pricing for the X300 starts at 4,399 yuan (approximately ₹55,000) in China, while the X300 Pro starts at 5,299 yuan (around ₹66,000). However, Indian prices are expected to be higher than their Chinese counterparts. Stay tuned for more updates as Vivo prepares to launch these exciting new devices.
