Vishal Sikka’s wife launches VaSi, and AI-powered learning and creator platform: All details

A groundbreaking new platform named VaSi has emerged, designed to empower individuals to share their expertise through live classes, engaging guides, and AI-enhanced learning experiences. This innovative initiative was unveiled by Vishal Sikka, the former CEO of Infosys, who announced that it was developed by his wife, Vandana Sikka. In a post on X, he referred to VaSi as "Gyaan ki Dukaan," which translates to "shop of wisdom," emphasizing its mission to deepen personal learning through community engagement. The name VaSi signifies a resident or someone who truly belongs to a place, encapsulating the platform's vision of fostering learning from those in one’s immediate environment rather than relying solely on digital resources. The platform encourages users to explore their interests and curiosities more thoroughly by learning directly from their peers. VaSi facilitates creators, entrepreneurs, and specialists to host live classes via a feature called VaSi Experiences. Additionally, they can publish instructional guides through a function known as Dots, allowing them to monetize skills across diverse fields such as fitness, finance, travel, academics, hobbies, and culinary arts without the need for a large following. Vishal Sikka shared that he recently conducted a session on artificial intelligence using VaSi's live experience feature, which sold out in just hours. He expressed satisfaction with the interactive nature of the class, noting that participants left with actionable insights and clear next steps for continued learning. One of the standout features of VaSi is SmartTasks, which promises to generate personalized follow-up tasks based on what users learned during their sessions. This aims to encourage practical application of knowledge rather than passive consumption of information. Reflecting on the current AI environment, Sikka remarked, "In a time where much 'knowledge' feels synthetic and chatbots can create a sense of superficial connection, the value of genuine human interaction and curiosity is more vital than ever."
