A fresh wave of flagship smartphones, anchored by Qualcomm's powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, is poised to make a significant impact in the market over the next few months. These devices are anticipated to launch in October in China, with global releases following soon after. According to reputable tipster Digital Chat Station, details have emerged regarding the camera specifications of several upcoming models, likely including the OnePlus 15, Realme GT 8 Pro, iQOO 15, and Redmi K90 Pro. The leak suggests that three of these smartphones will sport a 50MP 1/1.5-inch main sensor, while one model could feature an even larger 50MP 1/1.3-inch sensor. Additionally, two of the phones are expected to come equipped with a 50MP 1/2.76-inch sensor, while another might include a 50MP 1/1.95-inch sensor. Notably, one device is rumored to boast an impressive 200MP 1/1.56-inch sensor. However, details about the ultra-wide angle lenses and the telephoto macro lens support remain unclear, with only one of the four devices confirmed to include the latter. The iQOO 15 is projected to debut in China on October 15, while the OnePlus 15 is expected to make its appearance on October 27. Following its launch in China, the OnePlus device is likely to arrive in India and other international markets, with reports suggesting a global launch date of November 13—significantly ahead of the OnePlus 13's release. While the camera capabilities are anticipated to be a major draw for these new models, the spotlight this year may also shine on their gaming performance, enhanced by the latest Snapdragon chipset. The OnePlus 15 is set to feature a stunning 165Hz display, promising an exceptional gaming experience for users. Similarly, the iQOO 15 may incorporate a dedicated chip to further elevate gaming performance, echoing its predecessor's focus on gaming.
