After you check out your Spotify Wrapped 2025, explore these copycats

Spotify has once again captivated music enthusiasts with the launch of its annual Wrapped feature, providing a delightful and personalized glimpse into users’ listening habits. This trend has sparked a surge of similar year-in-review experiences from various companies, each aiming to recap users' preferences and interactions from the past year. Amazon Music has joined the fray with its new feature, “2025 Delivered.” This offering gives users a detailed summary of their listening activities, including their top artists, songs, and podcasts. A standout aspect of this year's recap is the special messages from favorite artists, delivered via Amazon’s Alexa. Users can easily access this feature by selecting the Library tab in the app. The update also introduces new badges, such as the “Trendsetter” for early listeners of popular albums, and the “Headliner” for those in the top percentage of listeners for an artist. Shareable cards designed with a music festival theme add a creative touch to the experience. Apple Music, which first introduced its “Replay” feature in 2019, continues to evolve with its 2025 edition. This year, users can explore top songs, artists, albums, and genres, complete with play counts and total listening time. The new “Discovery” section showcases emerging artists, while the “Loyalty” section highlights recurring favorites. Apple Music also offers a year-end highlight reel, combining audio and visual elements to showcase listening habits. Deezer has its own annual recap called “My Deezer Year,” which summarizes users' listening habits, complete with themes like “romantic comedy” for this year’s visuals. Users can engage in fun quizzes based on their music preferences and share results with friends, enhancing the social experience. SoundCloud has launched its recap feature for 2025, presenting an overview of users' top five artists, albums, tracks, and moods, along with total listening time. The platform also introduces a “Music Doppelgänger” feature, identifying users with similar tastes based on their followed profiles. YouTube Music has enhanced its Recap feature to include an AI-driven “Ask Music” function, allowing users to inquire about changes in their listening habits over the year. This interactive experience also highlights total listening time and the longest streak. Additionally, YouTube has rolled out its own Recap feature for video content, allowing users to revisit their most-watched videos and favorite channels of 2025, while also categorizing viewing preferences by personality type. Tidal takes a more minimalist approach, focusing on essential stats like top artists and songs, while providing users with a custom playlist of their most-played tracks. Beyond music apps, Duolingo offers a “Year in Review” feature, summarizing learning achievements, while Netflix users can utilize a tool from Kapwing to analyze viewing habits based on their Netflix history. As the year wraps up, many platforms are likely to reveal their own annual recaps, continuing the trend sparked by Spotify. With a variety of services joining in, users have ample opportunities to reflect on their year in entertainment and learning.
