The innovative consumer technology brand, Nothing, has officially launched its latest smartphone, the Nothing Phone (3), in India. This new device, spearheaded by Carl Pei, showcases a revamped design alongside enhanced internal specifications that are set to impress. At the heart of the Nothing Phone (3) is Qualcomm's powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, which promises robust performance. The smartphone features a striking triple-camera system and introduces an eye-catching rear display known as the Glyph Matrix. It is available in two configurations: one with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage priced at ₹79,999, and a more advanced model boasting 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage for ₹89,999. Users can select from sleek White or Black color options. Sales for the Nothing Phone (3) are set to commence on July 15, with availability through various channels including Flipkart, Flipkart Minutes, Vijay Sales, Croma, and other retail partners. Pre-booking has already opened, and early purchasers will receive a complimentary pair of Nothing Ear earbuds as a special incentive. Running on Nothing OS 3.5, which is built atop Android 15, the phone promises five years of Android updates and seven years of security patches. The device features a large 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K (1260 x 2800 pixels), capable of HDR10+ support and a smooth 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, achieving peak brightness levels of 4,500 nits. The display is safeguarded by Gorilla Glass 7i, while the rear is protected with Gorilla Glass Victus. The camera setup includes a formidable 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, complemented by a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom and OIS, as well as a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. For selfies and video calls, a 50MP front-facing camera is included. Connectivity features are extensive, supporting 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, NFC, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS, and NavIC. Audio quality is enhanced with dual stereo speakers and dual HD microphones, while security is addressed through an in-display fingerprint sensor. The device boasts an IP68 rating, ensuring dust and water resistance. For power, the Indian version houses a robust 5,500mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging, promising a full charge in just 54 minutes. Additionally, it offers 15W wireless charging, 7.5W reverse wired charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging capabilities. The device has dimensions of 160.60 x 75.59 x 8.99 mm and weighs in at 218 grams, making it a formidable entry in the smartphone market.
