Google's first Pixel 11 series teaser is out with a new Pixel Glow design

Google has just given fans a sneak peek at its highly anticipated Pixel 11 series, set to launch on August 12, 2026. The initial teaser showcases a fresh design and introduces a striking gold color variant, likely for the Pixel 11 Pro. In line with this new aesthetic, the company has also launched a dedicated Google Store landing page featuring the same gold theme, confirming the product name and the event date with the tagline: "The next generation. Google Pixel 11. August 12." In this first teaser, Google hinted at an exciting new hardware feature dubbed "Pixel Glow." This innovation appears to incorporate a circular light ring surrounding the rear camera bar, positioned adjacent to the camera lenses. Early reports suggest that this could mean the elimination of the traditional LED flash altogether. Additionally, a calendar invite from Google hinted at significant AI enhancements for the Pixel 11 series under the banner of "Gemini Intelligence." The invite encourages tech enthusiasts to tune in to the Made By Google event on August 12 at 6 pm ET / 3 pm PT for the latest updates, including details on the new Pixel devices. Following the launch event, pre-orders for the Pixel 11 will open on the same day. U.S. customers have the opportunity to benefit from an exclusive promotion by subscribing to Google Store marketing emails before August 7. Those who qualify will receive a promotional code applicable to the purchase of an unlocked Pixel 11 or a Google Fi model. The upcoming Google Pixel lineup is expected to feature four distinct models: the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Each device is anticipated to be powered by the new Tensor G6 processor, utilizing TSMC's advanced 2nm manufacturing process, along with a MediaTek M90 5G modem.
