The festive shopping season in India has officially kicked off with the arrival of Navratri, bringing with it incredible offers during Amazon’s Great Indian Festival and Flipkart’s Big Billion Days Sale. These events are providing consumers with significant discounts across various categories, particularly in electronics and fashion. This year, Apple's iPhone lineup is taking the spotlight, with prices slashed dramatically from their usual retail values. Flipkart is showcasing an eye-catching deal on the iPhone 14, where the 128GB model, originally priced at Rs. 79,900, is now available for just Rs. 39,999. This discount represents nearly a 50% reduction, inclusive of a Rs. 2,000 bank discount for transactions made with select cards. Amazon is also joining the fray with competitive offers on the iPhone 15, which was launched in 2023 at a price of Rs. 79,900 for the 128GB variant. Typically retailing at Rs. 59,990, the device can be purchased during the Great Indian Festival Sale for Rs. 43,749, thanks to a 10% instant discount for eligible SBI debit and credit cardholders. Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 has seen its price drop post the iPhone 17 series launch, now listed at Rs. 51,999 on Flipkart. Customers using Axis Bank and ICICI Bank cards can take advantage of an additional 10% discount, further enhancing the deal. For those interested in premium devices, the iPhone 16 Pro is still available on Flipkart despite being discontinued by Apple. Originally priced at Rs. 1,19,900 for the 128GB variant, it now retails for Rs. 74,900, with an extra Rs. 5,000 off for select cardholders. The iPhone 16 Pro Max with 256GB storage is also on sale for Rs. 89,999, combining direct price cuts and bank discounts, down from its launch price of Rs. 1,44,900. These festive sales present a unique opportunity for consumers to acquire high-end smartphones at a fraction of their original prices. Shoppers looking to upgrade are advised to act quickly, as popular models are expected to sell out rapidly. Additionally, Flipkart is set to enhance its customer experience by introducing 10-minute doorstep delivery through its quick commerce service, Flipkart Minutes. This service will operate across 19 cities and approximately 3,000 pin codes, ensuring near-instant access to deals on smartphones and other essential products. The Big Billion Days 2025 sale will commence on September 23, 2025, marking Flipkart's 12th year of this annual festival event.
