Apple iPhone 17 Pro price drops below₹80,000? How the Black Friday deal works

As Black Friday approaches, shoppers in India and around the world are seeing substantial discounts on a variety of electronics and accessories. Croma has joined the fray with considerable price cuts on Apple’s latest iPhone lineup, creating an exciting opportunity for buyers looking to snag the iPhone 17 Pro for less than ₹80,000 before the sale concludes on November 30. Currently, Croma lists the iPhone 17 Pro at ₹1,34,900 for the 256 GB variant. However, customers can benefit from a bank cashback offer of up to ₹3,000, along with an enticing exchange bonus of ₹12,000. The most significant savings arise from trading in a recent flagship model. For instance, exchanging an iPhone 15 Pro can bring the effective price down to approximately ₹79,900, marking a notable entry into the sub-₹80,000 range during this major sales event. The iPhone 17 Pro Max, available for ₹1,49,900, also features similar bank incentives and exchange options. Customers trading in an iPhone 15 Pro Max can see their final cost drop to about ₹94,900. Additionally, Croma is offering discounts on the iPhone Air 256GB, which is priced at ₹1,19,900. With the bank cashback, promotional coupons worth up to ₹10,000, and an exchange bonus of ₹12,000 for those trading in an iPhone 15, the effective price could be as low as ₹54,900. Apple’s latest Pro models maintain the traditional size distinctions with 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch displays, both featuring Super Retina XDR OLED technology that now boasts peak outdoor brightness levels reaching 3,000 nits, a significant upgrade from previous generations. The durability of these devices has also seen a boost with the introduction of Ceramic Shield 2 on both the front and back, claiming three times the scratch resistance and quadruple the crack protection compared to earlier glass designs. Standard features such as ProMotion refresh rates up to 120 Hz and Always On Display are retained. Moreover, the new vapor chamber system enhances heat management during demanding tasks; this chamber, integrated into the frame and filled with deionized water, effectively draws heat away from the A19 Pro chip. Coupled with the larger internal space of the Pro Max and software optimizations in iOS 26, Apple asserts that the iPhone 17 Pro Max offers the longest battery life ever seen in an iPhone. The A19 Pro processor is engineered for sustained performance and energy efficiency, featuring a six-core CPU designed for improved speed retention. The six-core GPU incorporates dedicated neural accelerators, enabling real-time ray tracing, console-quality gaming, and advanced language model processing directly on the device.
