For centuries, reports of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) have captivated the public's imagination. Sightings have surged at various points in history, particularly during the late 1940s and early 1950s, coinciding with the onset of the Cold War. In recent years, advancements in technology have enabled more frequent sightings, particularly since the 2000s, as improved sensors and cameras document these phenomena in real time. Following the disclosure of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program in 2017, there has been an increasing demand from the public for the US government to release its archives on extraterrestrial encounters. The terminology has evolved as well, with UFOs now being referred to as Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP). Despite this growing interest, officials from the Pentagon have consistently stated that no solid evidence supports the existence of extraterrestrial beings or their technology on Earth. In a climate rife with conspiracy theories and widespread skepticism, many individuals remain convinced that aliens are indeed real, and that the government is concealing the truth. In February, former President Trump instructed his administration to initiate the process of identifying and releasing government documents pertaining to alien life, UAP, and UFOs, emphasizing the significance of these complex issues that intrigue the public.
