Meet the Indian-origin AI founders dominating Forbes’ latest 30 Under 30 list

Forbes has unveiled its 2026 30 Under 30 list in the realm of Artificial Intelligence, spotlighting a number of innovative young entrepreneurs, many of whom hail from Indian backgrounds. This year's list showcases several leaders making significant waves in the tech industry. Among these standout founders are Chowdhuri and Abraham, who are MIT alumni. They have named their startup after a well-known spell from Harry Potter, designed to shatter obstacles. Their AI platform specializes in unlocking and interpreting vast amounts of data hidden within unstructured documents. To date, Reducto has successfully processed over 250 million pages from prominent companies such as Scale AI, Vanta, and Airtable. The startup has raised more than $100 million in funding and was last valued at $600 million as of October. Another highlight is Chelikani, who co-founded Pylon with Robert Eng and Marty Kausas. This startup aids B2B teams in monitoring and managing customer issues across various platforms, including Slack, Microsoft Teams, and email. With over 750 B2B clients, including ElevenLabs and Together.ai, Pylon is making a substantial impact in the industry. Kaushik launched Delve from an MIT dorm room alongside co-founder Selin Kocalar. Initially focused on developing a medical scribe, the company pivoted to automate compliance processes. Delve now utilizes AI to help businesses meet security standards such as SOC 2 and HIPAA, boasting a clientele of over 500 companies, including the AI coding platform Lovable. Recently, Delve secured $32 million in funding led by Insight Partners, achieving a valuation of $300 million. Dutta and Tangri, both graduates in computer science from MIT, are working with co-founder Noah Faro to create AI agents capable of generating complex Excel models, pitch decks, and research memos tailored to the needs of financial firms within seconds. Their startup has already partnered with approximately 30 financial institutions, primarily investment banks and private equity firms. Lastly, Gupta co-founded Vapi with Jordan Dearsley, initially aiming to develop an AI therapist. The company has since shifted its focus to providing developers with tools for creating and deploying voice-enabled AI agents that engage in natural conversations. Additionally, Samson and his former Stanford classmate David Yue launched Accordance in 2024, which is working on an AI system designed to tackle intricate tax and accounting challenges that traditional software struggles with. Accordance has successfully raised over $13 million in seed funding from notable Silicon Valley investors, including Khosla Ventures and Sequoia.
