Best phones under₹25,000 in December 2025: Lava Agni 4 and more

As we approach the end of the year, the flurry of smartphone releases shows no signs of letting up. This December, several new devices priced under ₹25,000 have launched, offering great options for budget-conscious consumers. One standout is the Lava Agni 4, which features a vibrant 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1.5K. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex processor, it comes with either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM alongside UFS 3.1 storage. The camera setup includes a 50MP Sony LYT-600 lens with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultrawide camera, complemented by a 16MP front-facing camera. With a massive 7,100mAh battery and 80W fast charging, it’s designed to keep up with heavy usage. However, it has some drawbacks, including a single speaker and no NFC capability. Another option is a phone boasting a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, also featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. This device is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor and offers 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM with UFS 4.0 storage. Its camera system includes a 50MP main sensor (with OIS) and an 8MP ultrawide camera, along with a 50MP front camera. The 5,000mAh battery supports 66W charging, providing a balance between performance and endurance. However, users may find the software a bit plain and the battery capacity smaller compared to competitors. For gamers, the device with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display and a 144Hz refresh rate is particularly appealing. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate and comes with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The camera setup consists of a 108MP main camera along with a 2MP macro lens and a 32MP selfie camera. With a 5,500mAh battery and support for both wired and wireless charging at 45W, it’s tailored for an engaging gaming experience. However, it lacks OIS and has a smaller battery than some of its rivals. Additionally, another contender features a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with Dolby Vision and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra. This model offers up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and has a strong camera lineup that includes a 50MP sensor with OIS. It also has a 6,550mAh battery that charges quickly at 90W. While it excels in processing power and display quality, some users might be put off by the presence of bloatware and a plastic build. Finally, the smartphone equipped with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor also deserves attention. It features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a robust 7,300mAh battery, and 90W FlashCharge capabilities. Nonetheless, it falls short in audio quality with only a single speaker and lacks an ultrawide lens. For avid gamers, the Poco X7 Pro, OnePlus Nord CE 5, and Infinix GT 30 Pro are excellent choices. The GT 30 Pro stands out for its shoulder triggers that enhance gameplay, as well as its stylish lighting effects. The OnePlus Nord CE 5 might be the best option for photography enthusiasts looking for quality camera performance. While OnePlus offers great value with its long battery life, it does not feature UFS 4.0 storage or a more premium design. As the smartphone market continues to evolve, these models represent some of the best choices under ₹25,000 this December.
