He emphasized the importance of understanding expenses, noting, "We should spend tokens to grow as aggressively as possible, but most people (myself included) aren't aware of their spending habits." He highlighted the need for transparency in costs, mentioning that many are shocked to discover how quickly their expenses accumulate, citing his own experience of spending $4,000 in just three days while using Claude Code. The CEO also discussed which roles benefit most from high token expenditures, indicating that for engineers, the investment is clearly justified. He argued that equipping engineers with cutting-edge models yields greater benefits than the costs incurred.
