'Godfather of SaaS' says he's only interested in investing in companies that are in the office 6 days a week

"You don’t get to earn millions while working just a few hours a week; you either want luxury or wealth," he asserted. He noted that he expects to invest primarily in companies that foster a rigorous in-office culture, stating, "I want small, high-paid teams that work in the office six days a week. I am not interested in investing in anything else." His comments align with those of Ryan Petersen, CEO of Flexport, who described remote work as a form of 'white-collar fraud' due to the numerous distractions it entails. Petersen shared that even with a spacious home office, work becomes nearly impossible with young children around. Lemkin concurred, suggesting that the traditional work-from-home model is increasingly outdated and that companies focused on growth and innovation must embrace a more demanding work culture. In his view, the choice is clear: "Do you aim to generate wealth from your equity, or are you content with a standard salary?"
