End of work-from-home? Google DeepMind co-founder Shane Legg predicts AI to kill remote jobs

According to Legg, jobs that are purely cognitive and can be performed remotely are particularly at risk. He illustrated this by suggesting that a team of 100 engineers might be reduced to just 20 as AI technology continues to advance. Legg also mentioned that AI has already begun to surpass human performance in general knowledge and anticipates that AI tools will soon enhance their reasoning and understanding skills, progressively approaching human intelligence. He warned, "If you can do the job remotely over the internet just using a computer, then that job is potentially at risk."
