The BoysS5 trailer tees up a bloody final season

Prime Video has unveiled the full trailer for the fifth and concluding season of The Boys, setting the stage for an intense showdown between Antony Starr's Homelander and Karl Urban's Butcher. The stakes are higher than ever as Homelander seeks the original V compound to achieve immortality, while Butcher is determined to unleash a Supe-specific virus aimed at eradicating all superhumans. Following the dramatic events of Season 4, the outlook for our antiheroes is grim. They narrowly prevented the assassination of newly elected US President Robert Singer, but the rise of the new Vought CEO, the sinister Sister Sage (played by Susan Heyward), has turned the political landscape upside down. Sage effectively manipulated the election process, installing Senator Steve Calhoun (David Andrews) as the new president, who swiftly declared martial law with Homelander as his loyal enforcer.
