Tecno Pova 7 5G, Pova 7 Pro 5G with Dimensity 7300 Ultimate SoC launched

Tecno has officially introduced two new models in its smartphone lineup, the Pova 7 and Pova 7 Pro, both priced under ₹20,000. These devices are equipped with the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor and boast a substantial 6,000 mAh battery, complemented by rapid 45W charging capabilities. The Tecno Pova 7 is available at ₹14,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version, while the 256GB storage variant is priced at ₹15,999. Customers can choose from three color options: Magic Silver, Oasis Green, and Geek Black. On the other hand, the Pova 7 Pro comes with a price tag of ₹18,999 for the 128GB variant and ₹19,999 for the 256GB model, offered in Dynamic Grey, Neon Cyan, and Geek Black. Both smartphones will be available for purchase on Flipkart starting July 10. The Pova 7 Pro features a stunning 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and an impressive brightness of 4,500 nits. It is safeguarded by Corning's Gorilla Glass 7i and has an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance. In terms of photography, the Pova 7 Pro is equipped with a 64MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide lens, capable of recording videos in 4K at 30fps. The front-facing camera is a 13MP shooter, also supporting 4K video recording. Running on HiOS 15 based on Android 15, Tecno promises one year of operating system updates and two years of security patches for the device. The Pova 7 also sports a 6.78-inch display but features a Full HD+ LCD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, reaching up to 900 nits in High Brightness Mode. It runs on the same Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor and supports up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor along with a secondary lens, while selfies are handled by a 13MP front camera. Like its Pro counterpart, the Pova 7 also runs on HiOS 15 and features a 6,000 mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging, although it lacks wireless charging support.
