On a different front, a federal judge has overturned a controversial $100,000 fee imposed by the Trump administration on employers applying for H-1B visas. Judge Leo Sorokin ruled that the fee violated both the federal Administrative Procedure Act and constitutional guidelines, agreeing with the plaintiff states that it constitutes a tax, which should not be enforced by the executive branch.
