Amazon fulfillment competitor Stord raises $250M at $3B valuation

Founded in 2015 by college students Sean Henry and Jacob Boudreau while they were at Georgia Tech, Stord has consistently evolved, reaching unicorn status in 2021 during the height of pandemic-driven venture capital activity. Despite facing challenges during the subsequent downturn in VC funding, Stord demonstrated resilience, raising a substantial $200 million in 2025, which elevated its valuation to $1.5 billion. To date, the startup has amassed approximately $775 million in total funding. Stord differentiates itself in the logistics landscape by offering a combination of physical warehouses and sophisticated inventory management software tailored for e-commerce businesses.
