Rocket Report: SpaceX probes upper stage malfunction; Starship testing resumes

In the latest edition of the Rocket Report, significant developments in the aerospace sector are making headlines. NASA continues to grapple with persistent hydrogen leaks on its Space Launch System (SLS), a problem that has plagued the program since its inception. Just recently, during a fueling test for the second SLS rocket, the leaks reemerged, complicating the agency's plans. As reported, NASA has scheduled another fueling test for the coming weeks after conducting troubleshooting on the faulty fueling line. However, the launch of the Artemis II mission is now delayed until March, emphasizing the difficulties faced due to the low launch frequency of the SLS. In other news, Blue Origin has announced a suspension of its New Shepard program, which has been a cornerstone of its suborbital space tourism efforts since 2015. This pause, expected to last two years, may signal the end of the program, which has successfully completed 38 flights, transporting 98 passengers to space and launching over 200 scientific payloads. The decision to halt operations comes as Blue Origin aims to redirect its focus toward enhancing its human lunar capabilities, as stated by CEO Dave Limp in an internal communication. The company's workforce was reportedly caught off guard by this announcement, particularly as the latest mission just took place a week earlier, successfully sending six individuals into space.
