Sony brings discounts on BRAVIA TVs with up to ₹70,000 off after GST cut

In a move aimed at enhancing customer experience, Sony India has rolled out substantial discounts on its BRAVIA television lineup, capitalizing on recent GST reforms. Effective from September 22, 2025, the company confirmed that a tax reduction of 7.8% will be reflected in their pricing, allowing for substantial savings on various models. Customers can enjoy discounts reaching up to ₹70,000 on select BRAVIA TVs, particularly in the larger screen categories. This includes ₹70,000 off on 85-inch models, ₹51,000 on 75-inch screens, ₹40,000 on 65-inch televisions, and ₹32,000 on 55-inch options. To sweeten the deal, Sony India is also introducing affordable financing and EMI plans starting as low as ₹2,995 per month, making these premium products more accessible. Additional attractive offers include one EMI-free payment, instant cashback up to ₹25,000, and a three-year warranty on select BRAVIA TVs. Furthermore, customers can take advantage of a bundled deal that pairs BRAVIA televisions with soundbars, potentially saving up to ₹69,990. Sony's BRAVIA TVs are equipped with the advanced XR processor featuring Cognitive Intelligence, which enhances image quality by analyzing and optimizing visuals in real time, ensuring a captivating viewing experience. Sunil Nayyar, Managing Director of Sony India, expressed optimism that the GST reform would enhance affordability for consumers, consequently boosting sales. The company has adjusted its festive sales forecast, anticipating a 10% growth, an increase from earlier estimates. To further engage customers during the Diwali season, Sony plans to ramp up its marketing efforts, emphasizing the affordability of its high-quality entertainment solutions.
