Realme is gearing up to unveil its latest mid-range smartphone, the Realme 16 Pro, and recent leaks suggest significant enhancements compared to its predecessor. Following the launch of the Realme 15 Pro earlier this year, the new model is expected to offer impressive upgrades in display quality, camera technology, and storage options. According to insider information shared by tipster Anvin (@ZionsAnvin) on social media platform X, the Realme 16 Pro may be available in four different RAM and storage configurations: 8GB with 128GB, 8GB with 256GB, 12GB with 256GB, and 12GB with 512GB. In a departure from the Realme 15 Pro’s color options, the upcoming phone is rumored to come in shades of grey, gold, and purple. The device is set to feature a stunning 6.78-inch OLED display, boasting a resolution of 1.5K and a fast 144Hz refresh rate. This aligns closely with the earlier model’s specifications while enhancing the high-refresh-rate performance that has become a hallmark of the series. Realme is also poised to elevate its photography game with the 16 Pro, which is said to sport a dual rear camera system, led by a remarkable 200MP primary sensor and an additional 8MP secondary camera. This marks a significant upgrade from the previous generation’s 50MP sensors. Additionally, users can expect a 50MP front camera, designed to capture sharper selfies and enhance video calls. Powering the device might be a robust 7,000mAh battery, similar to that of the Realme 15 Pro, along with support for 80W fast charging. The smartphone is expected to run on Android 16, featuring Realme UI 7. While the exact chipset is yet to be confirmed, early reports indicate it could reach clock speeds of up to 2.5GHz. Other anticipated features include an in-display fingerprint sensor and an infrared blaster. The specifications suggest that the Realme 16 Pro will measure 162.6 x 77.6 x 7.75mm and weigh approximately 192 grams, indicating a sleek design that maintains a substantial battery capacity.
