Ganesan, who humorously identifies himself as one of those picked last, is financially equipped to attend, especially after Menlo Ventures committed to a substantial $100 million fund in partnership with AI company Anthropic to invest in emerging startups. As the anticipation builds, ticket prices have skyrocketed, averaging nearly $7,000, although some last-minute options remain available on StubHub for around $3,600. With only 25% of the tickets allocated to the general public, most are distributed among NFL teams. Interestingly, 27% of ticket buyers hail from Washington State, rallying behind the Seahawks, who have clinched just one Super Bowl title compared to the Patriots’ impressive six championships, all under the leadership of legendary quarterback Tom Brady. The competition extends beyond the field, with tech giants like Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, Amazon, and Meta engaging in a fierce advertising battle, each vying to showcase their AI innovations. It’s likely that their CEOs will also make an appearance, with the exception of Amazon’s Andy Jassy, who reportedly divides his time between Seattle and Santa Monica. This marks only the third occasion the Bay Area has hosted the Super Bowl, following events in 1985 and 2016, making it a momentous occasion for local fans and tech enthusiasts alike.
