As August winds down, the tech world is already buzzing about the exciting smartphone launches slated for September. Kicking off the month, Apple is expected to unveil its highly anticipated iPhone 17 series, followed closely by Samsung's Galaxy S25 FE lineup, alongside various other devices. While Apple has yet to confirm the exact launch date for the iPhone 17 series, historical patterns suggest it will take place in the second week of September. This year, the lineup is set to feature four distinct models: the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Notably, the iPhone 17 Pro models are rumored to undergo a significant design overhaul, including a horizontal camera arrangement and a shift from a titanium-only build to a hybrid aluminum and glass finish. The iPhone 17 Air is anticipated to replace the iPhone 16 Plus, potentially becoming the lightest and thinnest iPhone to date. The standard iPhone 17 is expected to retain a similar design to last year's model, while introducing notable upgrades, such as a new processor, a 24MP front-facing camera, and a vibrant 120Hz ProMotion LTPO AMOLED display. On the Samsung front, the Galaxy S25 FE is projected to launch around mid-September, in line with the company's Fan Edition tradition. This device is anticipated to be powered by the Exynos 2400 processor and will boast a robust triple camera system featuring a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP 3x telephoto lens with optical image stabilization, and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. A stunning 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate is also expected, along with an increased battery capacity of 4,900mAh, surpassing the previous generation's 4,700mAh. Additionally, excitement is building around Lava's upcoming Agni device, with recent leaks hinting at a design shift away from the secondary display, opting instead for a horizontal camera layout. The Agni 4 is reportedly going to retain the AMOLED display from last year's model while upgrading to a MediaTek 8350 processor and a substantial 7,000mAh battery. Stay tuned for more updates on the pricing, features, and launch dates for these groundbreaking devices.
