Tech aficionados are in for an exciting September as three prominent smartphone manufacturers gear up to unveil their latest innovations. Apple has officially scheduled its autumn keynote for September 9, while Oppo is set to introduce its F31 series shortly thereafter, followed by Samsung with the anticipated Galaxy S25 FE. Apple's event, titled "Awe Dropping," will take place at the iconic Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino. The tech giant is expected to reveal a total of five new iPhone models. The standard iPhone 17 is rumored to showcase a sleeker aluminum frame paired with Apple's cutting-edge A19 Bionic processor. Alongside it, the larger iPhone 17 Plus is anticipated to offer similar core features on an expanded display. The iPhone 17 Pro is likely to debut with a robust titanium body, an upgraded A19 Pro chip, and a sophisticated triple-lens camera system equipped with LiDAR technology, alongside storage capacities reaching up to 2TB. The flagship iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to feature the series' largest display, a periscope zoom camera, and the most powerful battery in the lineup. Additionally, Apple may introduce a new model, the iPhone 17 Air, which is projected to be ultra-thin at just 5.5mm, although this design may come at the expense of battery life and camera capabilities. ProMotion's famed 120Hz refresh rate is likely to remain exclusive to the Pro variants. On the other hand, Oppo is reportedly set to launch its F31 series in India between September 12 and 14, as leaked by tipster Abhishek Yadav. This lineup may include the Oppo F31 5G powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, the Oppo F31 Pro 5G featuring a Dimensity 7300, and the high-end Oppo F31 Pro+ 5G equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. The series may support up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, along with flat displays and rapid 80W charging capabilities, following the earlier release of the F29 range in March. Meanwhile, Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S25 FE on September 4 at a special Galaxy Event, where it will also showcase its Tab S11 tablets. Sales in India are anticipated to kick off by mid-September. The Galaxy S25 FE is rumored to sport a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 2,000 nits, powered by the Exynos 2400 chipset. Camera specifications are thought to include a 50MP main sensor with optical stabilization, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, an 8MP 3x telephoto camera, and a 12MP selfie shooter. The device may house a 4,900mAh battery capable of 45W wired and 15W wireless charging, with Android 16 and One UI 8 pre-installed. Its design is expected to closely resemble that of the Galaxy S24 FE, with pricing in India likely to range between ₹60,000 and ₹65,000.
