This new addition to the Blue series is designed to optimize AI-driven workflows, boost productivity, and support advanced video editing in both 4K and 8K resolutions. Promising a significant upgrade, the WD Blue SN5100 boasts up to 30% increased performance compared to its predecessor, the WD Blue SN5000. The SSD can achieve impressive read speeds of up to 7,100 MB/s for its 1TB and 2TB models, making it a powerful tool for those who need rapid data access. Equipped with Sandisk's BiCS8 QLC 3D CBA NAND technology, the drive provides enhanced density and capacity. Additionally, its nCache 4.0 technology ensures faster transfers of large files, allowing for seamless handling of demanding applications. The WD Blue SN5100 is available in capacities ranging from 500GB to 4TB, featuring a single-sided M.2 2280 design that fits a wide array of laptops and desktops.
