The upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra from Samsung is already making waves, capturing the interest of tech enthusiasts well before its official launch. Recent leaks suggest that this flagship device will showcase impressive improvements, especially in display technology. Following the advancements seen in the Galaxy S25 Ultra released earlier this year, the S26 Ultra is expected to further elevate the viewing experience. Renowned leaker Ice Universe has indicated that the Galaxy S26 Ultra may sport a 6.89-inch display, a slight yet significant increase from the 6.86-inch screen of its predecessor. Interestingly, despite this modest size increase, the device is anticipated to maintain its width at 77.6mm, implying that Samsung is likely reducing the bezels even further. The leaks suggest that the bezels could measure a mere 1.15mm, compared to the 1.2mm bezels on the Galaxy S25 Ultra, potentially making this device one of the sleekest in the Galaxy lineup. In addition to display enhancements, the S26 Ultra is rumored to feature substantial upgrades in its camera and overall performance. Reports hint at a shift to a new 200MP Sony CMOS sensor, which is larger at 1/1.1 inches, replacing the previous 1/1.3-inch sensor used in the S25 Ultra. This move may signify a departure from Samsung’s typical in-house sensor technology. Furthermore, the camera system is expected to include an advanced laser autofocus module, which could enhance focus accuracy and work alongside the next-generation Pro Visual Engine for superior image processing. On the performance front, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is likely to be equipped with a custom Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 "Elite 2 for Galaxy" chipset and may support up to 16GB of RAM. It is also projected to carry an IP68 rating, ensuring robust resistance against water and dust. Although Samsung has yet to officially unveil any specifications, these leaks paint a picture of the Galaxy S26 Ultra as a meticulously refined flagship, promising significant enhancements in display, camera technology, and processing capabilities.
