
Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy Tab Active5 Enterprise Edition in India, a robust tablet engineered for businesses facing challenging conditions. Starting from August 18, customers can pre-order this 5G-enabled device, with pricing set at ₹49,999. Targeting sectors like defense, public safety, logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, and retail, the Galaxy Tab Active5 boasts an 8-inch display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core processor, and users can choose between two memory configurations: 6GB RAM with 128GB of storage or 8GB RAM with 256GB of storage, both expandable via microSD cards up to 1TB. Designed for resilience, this tablet holds a MIL-STD-810H certification for durability and is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Additionally, it comes equipped with an IP68-certified S Pen, ensuring functionality in various environments. A replaceable 5,050mAh battery supports a ‘No Battery Mode’ for uninterrupted use when plugged in. The Enterprise Edition also offers a comprehensive 36-month warranty, which includes one year for the battery. Running on Android 15, the device will receive software updates for up to seven years, along with a 12-month subscription to Samsung’s Knox Suite for enterprise security. Moreover, customers will gain access to various bundled enterprise solutions, including a year’s usage of Samsung SDS’s Brity Works collaboration platform, limited access to the AI-powered Brity Copilot, and complimentary push-to-talk services from Zello until December 2025. Small and medium businesses can also enjoy discounts of up to 50% on Google Workspace subscriptions. Additional features cater to the needs of noisy workplaces, including loud speakers, programmable keys with push-to-talk capabilities, biometric authentication, and connectivity options such as 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC. The Galaxy Tab Active5 Enterprise Edition package includes a rugged back cover, a data cable, and the S Pen, with prices set at ₹49,999 for the 6GB+128GB model and ₹56,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant.
