Samsung Galaxy M17 5G with 6.7-inch Full HD+ 90Hz AMOLED display launched

Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy M17 5G in India, showcasing an array of impressive specifications that cater to both performance and style. This new device is powered by the Exynos 1330 processor and boasts a stunning 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, ensuring vibrant visuals and fluid scrolling. Available in two attractive color options, Moonlight Silver and Sapphire Black, the Galaxy M17 5G is competitively priced at ₹12,499 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The pricing scales up to ₹13,999 for the 6GB RAM model and ₹15,499 for the 8GB RAM configuration. To sweeten the deal, Samsung is offering a ₹500 discount for bank transactions and up to three months of no-cost EMI options across major bank cards. Shoppers can expect to find the Galaxy M17 5G available on platforms like Amazon, Samsung's official website, and select retail stores starting October 13. The device is equipped with a peak brightness of 1,100 nits, ensuring visibility even under bright conditions, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for added durability. Additionally, it holds an IP54 rating, offering resistance to dust and splashes. The smartphone features a triple camera setup that includes a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies and video calls, users can rely on a 13MP front-facing camera. The Galaxy M17 5G runs on OneUI 7 based on Android 15, promising six years of OS and security updates. Powering the device is a robust 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging, although it’s worth noting that the charger is not included in the box. Despite its AMOLED display, the phone features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for secure access. Connectivity options are broad, including NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, dual 4G VoLTE, and support for 12 5G bands, along with Wi-Fi 802.11 capabilities. With its compelling combination of features and affordability, the Samsung Galaxy M17 5G is poised to make a significant impact in the mid-range smartphone market.
