Samsung Galaxy Buds Core to launch in India on June 27 ahead of Galaxy Unpacked

Samsung is preparing for the launch of its latest true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones, the Galaxy Buds Core, scheduled for release in India on June 27 at 12 PM IST. This early introduction comes just ahead of the highly anticipated Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event, which is set for July 9, where these earbuds were initially expected to be showcased. A dedicated teaser page for the Galaxy Buds Core has been activated on Amazon India, confirming the launch date and hinting at a potential soft launch strategy by Samsung prior to its flagship announcements. Although the product page does not reveal in-depth specifications, it does depict the earbuds nestled in a sleek black charging case, with Amazon confirmed as one of the retail partners. Samsung India has also taken to social media to generate buzz around the launch, using the catchy tagline, “Let the music move you to the core.” This playful caption is stirring excitement about the new device, suggesting an immersive audio experience that promises to deliver music with heightened clarity and depth. Additionally, references to the Galaxy Buds Core have surfaced on Samsung’s official website and through notifications on the Samsung Shop app, reinforcing the expectation of an imminent launch. Speculation suggests that these earbuds may serve as successors to the Galaxy Buds FE released in 2023. They are anticipated to be offered in both black and white color variants, featuring an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. Each earbud is rumored to include a touch sensor for intuitive gesture controls. Samsung aims to enhance audio quality, claiming users will experience music that is “louder, clearer, deeper.” The Galaxy Buds Core are expected to support active noise cancellation (ANC) and incorporate AI-driven features from the Galaxy AI suite, including Interpreter and Live Translate modes for real-time translation when paired with compatible Galaxy smartphones. On the connectivity front, the Buds Core are likely to support Bluetooth 5.4 and include codec compatibility for AAC, SBC, and Samsung’s Scalable codec. There are some uncertainties regarding battery specifications, with reports indicating either a 65mAh or 100mAh capacity per earbud, alongside a 500mAh charging case. Playback time may reach up to 20 hours on a single charge. While it remains to be seen if the Galaxy Buds Core will roll out in other markets prior to the Unpacked event, further updates are expected in the coming weeks.
