Samsung unveils Galaxy Book6 laptop series at CES 2026, calls it 'the most advanced Galaxy Book series yet'

During the CES 2026 event, Samsung Electronics proudly unveiled its latest and most sophisticated laptop collection to date: the Galaxy Book6 series. This new lineup, which includes the Galaxy Book6 Ultra, Galaxy Book6 Pro, and the standard Galaxy Book6, is engineered for high performance while maintaining an ultra-slim design aimed at enhancing AI-driven productivity. At the heart of the Galaxy Book6 series is the groundbreaking Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, utilizing Intel's innovative 18A process technology. This advanced 1.8-nanometer process marks a significant milestone in semiconductor advancements, offering up to 16 performance and efficient cores. Consequently, users can expect a remarkable 60% boost in CPU performance over previous models, ensuring rapid processing and smooth multitasking capabilities. Graphics performance is also impressive, as the series features an integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of executing up to 50 trillion operations per second. This allows for instant AI functionalities such as image enhancement and translation, all without needing cloud support. For those engaged in creative or gaming tasks, the Galaxy Book6 Ultra is powered by the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 and 5060 GPUs. These graphics cards elevate both entertainment and professional design experiences to new heights. To accommodate this enhanced power, Samsung has revamped its internal cooling system, incorporating a high-capacity vapor chamber alongside a dual-fan setup to ensure stable performance during demanding tasks. The series also boasts Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays with a 120Hz refresh rate, providing users with stunning color accuracy and fluid visuals, whether for work or leisure. In addition, an intelligent quad-speaker system enhanced by Dolby Atmos technology delivers immersive audio, while a 2MP camera and dual-array microphones facilitate professional video conferencing. Despite these significant upgrades, the Galaxy Book6 series remains lightweight and portable. The Galaxy Book6 Ultra features a robust 76Wh battery, and the Pro models include a 73.9Wh battery, designed to support users throughout their day. Enhanced with Wi-Fi 6E and a variety of ports, including Thunderbolt 4, these devices are fully equipped for modern mobile workflows. "At Samsung, we believe true innovation begins with mastering the basics," stated Won-Joon Choi, President and COO of Samsung Electronics. He emphasized that the Galaxy Book6 series combines unmatched speed and power with reliable AI to meet the exceptional productivity and creative demands of users. The Galaxy Book6 Ultra, Pro, and standard models will be available in Grey or Silver starting late January 2026. Additionally, Samsung has announced the upcoming Galaxy Book6 Enterprise Edition, tailored for managed IT environments, set to launch in select markets by April 2026.
