Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra spotted in video ahead of launch, reveals how privacy screen works

The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is set to make its debut in just two days, generating buzz among tech enthusiasts eager for a first look at the flagship AI smartphone. A recently leaked video has ignited excitement, particularly surrounding the innovative Privacy Screen technology that is expected to be featured in the new series. The video, shared by tipster Sahil Karoul, showcases a smartphone believed to be the Galaxy S26 Ultra. It highlights the functionality of the Privacy Screen feature, which obscures the display when viewed from side angles while remaining clear from the front, reminiscent of a traditional privacy screen protector. However, this technology is reportedly built directly into the device's screen, allowing it to manipulate light emission by adjusting pixel brightness and orientation. Furthermore, Samsung has indicated that the Privacy Screen will come with various settings, enabling users to determine the intensity of the privacy effect. This feature aims to enhance the security of Galaxy devices. Aside from the Privacy Screen, the video also provides a glimpse of the Galaxy S26 Ultra's front design. The device appears to have a slimmer bezel, closely resembling its predecessor, while the camera design has also been updated, featuring a prominent raised camera island with lens rings positioned atop. Tech fans will have to wait for the Galaxy Unpacked event on February 25 at 11:30 PM IST to learn more about the full capabilities and specifications of the Galaxy S26 series.
