Samsung has begun the rollout of its One UI 8 Watch software update specifically for the Galaxy Watch Ultra, expanding the suite of health-centric tools and interface enhancements that debuted with the Galaxy Watch8 series. This update introduces several features designed to assist users in their fitness journeys. Among the notable additions is the Running Coach, which provides structured training guidance, alongside the Vascular Load metric that aids in monitoring cardiovascular health. Users will also benefit from the Antioxidant Index, a feature that sheds light on the body’s reaction to oxidative stress. In terms of usability, the One UI 8 Watch update presents a newly redesigned interface optimized for smartwatch functionality. The refreshed layout includes Multi-Info Tiles, allowing users to merge different data points—such as health metrics and weather information—on a single screen. Additionally, the introduction of the “Now Bar” feature keeps ongoing tasks readily accessible, streamlining the user experience. Samsung emphasized that this update is tailored to leverage the Galaxy Watch Ultra’s robust hardware capabilities, including its durability and performance, catering to active users with an outdoor lifestyle. The Galaxy Watch Ultra is now offered in four titanium finishes, with the exciting new Titanium Blue option added to the lineup. Furthermore, Samsung has indicated that the Galaxy Watch8, Galaxy Watch8 Classic, and the Titanium Blue variant of the Galaxy Watch Ultra will soon be available worldwide. The Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch 8 Classic were launched in India on July 9, alongside the latest Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 smartphones. Pre-orders for these wearables can already be made on Samsung's Indian website, starting at ₹32,999 for the Galaxy Watch 8, which comes in two case sizes: 40mm and 44mm. The pricing for the Galaxy Watch 8 reflects its specifications, with the 40mm Bluetooth-only model at ₹32,999 and the LTE version at ₹36,999. The 44mm model is priced at ₹35,999 for Bluetooth and ₹39,999 for LTE. In contrast, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, featuring a stainless steel frame and available only in a 46mm size, is offered at ₹46,999 for the Bluetooth variant and ₹50,999 for LTE.
