Internal Salesforce org chart shows the 10 executives helping CEO Marc Benioff navigate AI's threat to software

In a crucial period for Salesforce, CEO Marc Benioff is guided by a team of ten key executives, as highlighted in an internal organizational chart reviewed by Business Insider. The company faces significant pressure from the rise of generative AI, which poses a potential threat to its software business model. In response, Salesforce is rapidly integrating AI agents into its offerings as a strategic move to adapt and evolve. Earlier this year, Salesforce underwent an executive reshuffle, appointing new leaders to replace several high-profile executives who departed since December. This transition coincided with the start of the company's new fiscal year on February 1. Among Benioff’s direct reports are notable figures such as Robin Washington, who joined Salesforce in March 2025 to oversee operations and financial strategy. A seasoned executive, Washington previously served as CFO for Gilead Sciences and has been a board member since 2013. Her role consolidates two previous executive positions after the retirement of Brian Millham and the departure of Amy Weaver earlier in May 2025. Parker Harris, a Salesforce co-founder, continues to shape the company’s long-term technology vision as the chief technology officer, while also leading Slack's engineering efforts. Meanwhile, Sebastian Niles manages Salesforce's global legal and corporate affairs, playing a pivotal role in navigating the complexities of AI policy and global compliance since joining the company in 2023. Srinivas Tallapragada is responsible for engineering and customer success, ensuring the robust infrastructure necessary for Salesforce's platform and its AI integrations. He has been with the company since 2012, bringing experience from Oracle and SAP. Miguel Milano, who rejoined Salesforce in 2023, oversees worldwide sales and distribution. His extensive background includes leadership in Salesforce's international sales divisions. Steve Fisher, leading the product strategy since June 2025, is focusing on major initiatives such as the Data 360 data-management platform and the Agentforce AI agent platform. David Schmaier, who coordinates the company’s strategic priorities including mergers and acquisitions, has been influential since his arrival through the acquisition of Vlocity. Kendall Collins, leading Salesforce's Government Cloud, previously served as the chief business officer and Benioff's chief of staff. Lastly, Jason Yau, who has been with Salesforce since 2024, is currently the chief business officer and Benioff’s chief of staff, steering the office of the CEO. This executive team is set to navigate Salesforce through these transformative times as the company embraces the AI evolution in the software industry.
