At CES 2026, XBREW Lab introduced its innovative countertop nitro beverage machine, EverNitro, aimed at making nitro coffee more accessible for enthusiasts. This new device promises to eliminate the waste and high costs associated with traditional cartridge-based systems. For those unfamiliar, nitro coffee is a cold brew infused with nitrogen, resulting in a smooth, creamy texture reminiscent of a Guinness. It's widely appreciated for its naturally sweeter flavor and reduced bitterness. EverNitro is positioning itself as a cost-effective alternative to competitors like NitroBrew, offering a comprehensive solution for home users. Founder and CEO Terry Tan stated, "We provide the quality of a commercial tap with the size of a coffee maker. Instead of selling gas, we empower users to harvest it from the air for free.” The device claims to achieve an impressive 95% nitrogen purity and generates nitrogen directly from its environment, making it an eco-friendly choice that avoids the use of disposable cartridges. After testing, users will be delighted to find that EverNitro is user-friendly and compact enough to fit on countertops or be stored on shelves. It can handle various beverages, including coffee and cocktails, and allows users to customize pressure settings from 0 to 8 BAR. The entire process, from beverage loading to serving, takes just minutes. Additionally, a companion app provides updates for users. Launched on Kickstarter in October, EverNitro raised over $570,000, indicating strong market interest despite its higher price tag. The Lite version retails for $470, while backers can get it for $290. The more advanced Pro version is priced at $583 or $337 for backers, which includes extra canisters and a coffee bean preservation jar. In contrast, NitroBrew's countertop unit is priced around $1,000. Looking to the future, Tan shared with TechCrunch that the team is considering how gases can enhance the texture of a variety of beverages, suggesting a future machine that could not only dispense drinks but also intelligently mix cocktails and brew coffee, optimizing the gas profile for an enhanced drinking experience.
