TVS and Noise launch India’s first EV-smartwatch integration with iQube electric scooter

In a groundbreaking collaboration, Noise, a leading connected lifestyle brand in India, has partnered with TVS Motor Company to launch an innovative integration between the TVS iQube electric scooter and the newly designed TVS iQube Noise Smartwatch. This initiative marks a significant milestone as the first smartwatch-to-electric vehicle (EV) connectivity solution in India, allowing users to access vital information regarding their scooter's performance, safety, and health directly from their wrist. The smartwatch is equipped with features that provide real-time data, including battery status, distance to empty (DTE), tyre pressure, charging updates, and safety alerts, all while retaining essential smartwatch functionalities. Noise has consistently dominated the smartwatch market in India for the past four years, while the TVS iQube has achieved remarkable success, exceeding 650,000 unit sales and establishing itself as the top electric scooter in the country. During the launch event, Amit Khatri, Co-Founder of Noise, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "At Noise, our vision has always been to build technology that empowers people to live, move, and stay connected with ease. Our partnership with TVS Motor Company signifies a major advancement in this vision, transforming the smartwatch into a crucial mobility companion." Aniruddha Haldar, Senior Vice President at TVS Motor Company, emphasized the company’s commitment to redefining mobility through technology and sustainability. He noted, "By integrating the TVS iQube with a connected smartwatch, we are equipping our riders with smarter, safer, and more intuitive travel experiences, ultimately shaping the future of mobility in India." The TVS iQube Noise Smartwatch offers an array of key features, including: - Vehicle Status Monitoring: Instant display of lock/unlock, charging, or ride modes. - Battery Insights: State of Charge (SoC) along with low-battery notifications. - Distance to Empty (DTE): Estimated range based on selected ride mode. - Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS): Live updates on tyre pressure with recommended benchmarks. - Safety Alerts: Notifications for tow/theft detection, crash/fall events, and geofencing. - Charging Updates: Real-time charging progress and completion alerts. - On-Wrist Visual Cues: Colour-coded indicators for optimal performance and issues.
