Skylight debuts Calendar 2 to keep your family organized

Skylight, originally known for its digital picture frames, has shifted its focus to enhancing family organization through innovative digital solutions. At CES 2026, the company introduced its latest offering, the Skylight Calendar 2, which features a refined design that sits comfortably between its original 15-inch model and the larger 27-inch Calendar Max. This new digital calendar serves not just as a timekeeper, but as a comprehensive family organizer. One of its standout features is the ability to consolidate various family calendars from multiple platforms, including Google Calendar, iCal, and Microsoft, along with sports app schedules like TeamSnap. Users can easily glance at a color-coded display to view everyone's commitments, while an advanced AI capability allows for the seamless integration of important dates from physical notes or flyers. Just snap a picture of the paper, and the calendar updates automatically with the new events. Beyond scheduling, Skylight Calendar 2 tackles other common family challenges by offering tools for grocery lists, appointment reminders, meal planning, and even recipe suggestions. Its user-friendly app is designed for all ages, featuring vibrant colors and intuitive navigation that allows even young children to participate. For example, kids can check off chores using pictures, making it accessible for those who aren’t reading yet. Meal planning becomes a breeze with this device, whether you’re simply marking taco night or searching for new recipes. Skylight can generate a shopping list of ingredients directly from your meal plans and even integrate with your Instacart app for easy online grocery shopping. Adding to its list of smart features, the calendar can suggest recipes based on the contents of your fridge—just snap a photo of what you have, and let the AI do the rest. The response to the Skylight Calendar 2 has been overwhelmingly positive, with over 1.3 million families already utilizing their digital calendars. As the new model begins to ship, Skylight is poised for continued growth in the family organization market.
