DailyObjects POP GaN Charger Review: Small, stylish and capable

In today's tech-savvy world, carrying multiple chargers for different devices can be a hassle. With the rise of smart gadgets, consumers often find themselves juggling a charger for their laptop, another for their Android phone, and yet another for their iPhone or Galaxy device. Enter Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology, which aims to streamline this process by providing a single, compact charger that can power various devices. I recently tested three models of the DailyObjects Pop GaN adapters: the 33W, 45W, and 67W versions. These chargers not only excel in performance but also prioritize aesthetic appeal, available in five vibrant colors: Red, Yellow, Blue, Black, and White. This design focus distinguishes them from the typical black-and-white chargers that saturate the market. One of the standout features of these GaN5-based chargers is their size and weight. For instance, the 67W adapter weighs only 127 grams, significantly lighter than a similar Realme charger I own, which feels almost double its weight. The 45W and 33W models are even lighter at 84 grams and 74 grams, respectively. Each adapter boasts a sleek rectangular shape adorned with discreet DailyObjects branding and a convenient foldable pin mechanism, making them ideal for travel and easy portability. The 67W model is equipped with three ports: one USB-A port capable of 18W charging and two USB Type-C ports. It efficiently distributes power among connected devices. DailyObjects claims it can charge an iPhone 16 to 50% in just 25 minutes and a 14-inch MacBook Pro in about 35 minutes. While I couldn't verify these claims with Apple devices, I found that it charged my OnePlus 13 in roughly an hour and the OnePlus Pad 3 in around two hours, while also providing reliable power to my laptop, keeping it charged without draining. The 45W and 33W adapters feature two USB Type-C ports each, supporting 15W charging speeds per port when multiple devices are connected. The 45W option is especially beneficial for Apple and Samsung flagship users, while the 33W adapter is more suited for older generations that support lower charging speeds. However, with most modern Android devices capable of 45W charging or more, the practical applications for the 33W variant may be limited. Thermal performance is another highlight, as these chargers remained cool even during warmer conditions, a testament to their GaN5 technology. Pricing for the DailyObjects Pop adapters is as follows: ₹2,999 for the 67W, ₹2,499 for the 45W, and ₹1,499 for the 33W. The 67W model, in particular, offers substantial value, especially if found under ₹2,000 during sales. The 45W variant caters well to high-end device users, but its price point could deter some buyers, given its proximity to the 67W model. Meanwhile, the 33W adapter is best suited for budget-conscious consumers needing a charger for older devices. In summary, the DailyObjects Pop GaN chargers not only deliver on performance but also bring a stylish twist to the charging experience. They're well worth considering for anyone looking to simplify their charging needs.
